It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Victorious Caliste Thompson, affectionately known to many as Sunshine, Baby Dog, or simply Vic. Born on February 10, 2024, Victorious was a source of immense joy and solace in our lives. His love and warmth radiated around him, making the world feel small and intimate. His passing on October 9, 2026, has left a void in our hearts, but his memory will forever be a beacon of love and compassion.
Victorious was a creature of simple pleasures. He found joy in walking in nature, basking in the sun, and feeling the grass beneath his toes. Always the adventurous spirit, he loved car rides, traveling, and exploring new places. He had a special fondness for the snowy landscape of Alexandria, KY, one of his previous homes, where he would delight in eating snow and frolicking in its pristine beauty. His mother, Anastasia Thompson, often referred to him as her peace, highlighting the calming, empathetic presence he brought into her life. Above all else, he cherished being next to his mommy, their bond was truly special.
As the saying goes, "The bond with a true dog is as lasting as the ties of this earth will ever be." Victorious epitomized this through his loving, compassionate, and empathetic nature. In addition to his mother, Anastasia, Victorious is survived by his father, Anthony Velasquez, and his family members, Noel & Eric Whiting. His dedication to his family was unwavering, and their lives were undoubtedly enriched by his presence.
We invite all who knew and loved Victorious to share their memories and upload photos to his memorial page. It's in sharing these moments that we can truly celebrate the life of our beloved Victorious, a loving soul who made us feel loved, cherished, and indeed, victorious.
